He will have to interact with local suppliers as well as correspond with overseas suppliers and place orders accordingly.
He will also be required to travel to attend the various food fairs.
We are a chain of department stores through out Ghana and within the stores we have a supermarket section.
He will be responsible to see to the growth of the supermarket section by increasing sales, organizing promotions, seeing to expiry products.
The candidate should have worked in the purchasing department of a large format supermarket or chain of supermarkets, such as Choithrams, Lals, etc.
Should have knowledge of dealing with wholesalers/consolidators in UK, USA, Europe as well as UAE.
Knowledge of operating/managing frozen foods and fresh foods is an added advantage.
He should have good command of written and spoken English.
Candidates MUST have minimum of 5 years relevant experience in related fields.
Must be willing to re-locate to Ghana, West Africa
