Job Description

To manage and direct all staffing, marketing, program offerings and daily operations. Will be directly responsible for driving membership and ancillary services to ensure a profitability of the club.

  • Advertising and promoting the club to increase usage, which may include commissioning, corporate sales and direct sales.
  • Build a go to market strategy to promote club memberships to corporate and individuals. .

  • Engage with existing members to increase referrals.
  • Preparing and checking budgets and generating income.
  • Cashing-up and keeping stock records.
  • Writing monthly or weekly reports and preparing cash projections for the management team.
  • Build innovative cost control mechanisms to impact bottom-line.
  • Delivering fitness training or coaching in sports activities and maintaining contact with customers.
  • Handling complaints and incidents, e.g. accidents and emergencies or theft;
  • Using advanced management information (e.g. footfall, popularity of classes by hour) to improve provision and timetables to cope with fluctuations in demand.
  • Manage the liaison with external agencies government and non-government for smooth functioning and execution of the club.
  • Maintain and execute all statuary requirements necessary for the Club.
  • Renew and maintain all statutory approvals up to date.
  • Recruit and build a world class team
  • Training the team to deliver world class services to the members of the club.
  • Engage with the team consistently to build a highly motivated team.
  • Knowledge and operation of fire equipment.
  • Disaster Planning Knowledge and emergency procedures.
  • Establish best in class practices for safety for members, and employees of the club.
  • Carrying out health and safety checks on the equipment and personnel.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies and equipment when necessary
  • Managing maintenance, insurance, repairs and cleaning of the swimming pool, sports facilities and F&B areas.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer services with a particular focus on avoiding loss of existing users.

* Timely purchase of equipment and supplies.

  • Planning and scheduling of all sports and F&B activities.
  • Reporting all activities and communicating progress to the management team.
  • Manage the administration of all contracts, review and control the process of procurement.
  • Supervise the team to deliver world class services to its members.
  • Designing and promoting activities to meet customer demand and generate revenue.
  • Improve overall standards of the club.
