PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - Across U.S.
Team & Project Management - Responsible to management of clients, identifying potential project needs, taking responsibility for project scope, time, deliverables, organizing a team and responsible for delivering project outcomes to clients. Ability to inspire and lead a team of professional technologists to an inspiring client contribution role.
Could be handling projects in any of the following, management consulting, Business Process Outsourcing, technology implementation, ERP, BI, Analytics, EPM, Big Data, Internet of Things, On Line Stores, Tech Outsourcing, Cloud Based Solutions, Infrastructure, SaaS, PacKage Implementation, Project Management, Financial Business Intelligence, Change Management etc.
Responsible for all aspects of the delivery, schedule, performance and productivity of 1-3 projects and oversee 10-25 employees.
Is required to provide technical guidance to the team members and regularly interface with customers to take a project from its original conception through the final implementation.
To interact with client and senior management to understand the project objectives and provide assistance in developing functional specifications / statement of work.
To assist the Senior team in providing manpower estimates for billing of the project and prepare project budget.
Based on the project requirements develop project plans including resource planning and milestones and get a sign-off from the senior team and the client.
To allocate resources (hardware, software, manpower) and ensure the distribution of tasks among team members in a project through Project Leader.
To ensure the setting up of software and hardware infrastructure for the implementation of the project.
To ensure all travel logistics in liason with other support groups are taken care of.
To constantly review schedules, work plans, budgets and project targets for timely and cost-efficient delivery of the project.
To guide PL in ensuring that there are no schedule slippage unless approved by the client
To guide PL in ensuring that project documentation and project plans is up to date and timely
To conduct project meetings to track project implementation and provide regular status updates to the senior management.
To coordinate with onsite project managers/account managers as applicable to ensure smooth execution of projects.
To resolve project and team issues including crisis management.
To take timely and effective managerial decisions
To provide technical guidance to the team
To be responsible for review of business logic, review of coding.
To Set up Standards for the project
To ensure adherence of Quality Standards through proper documentation, review etc.
To review the test plan / schedule for the project.
To ensure testing on all modules of the project is carried out to meet with quality standards before delivery to the client. (The position may also be expected to carry some amount of testing)
To ensure the preparation of Quality Management System (QMS) documents required for. project and process quality and review of all the plans and related activities (eg: Defect Prevention etc)
To participate in the Software Quality Assurance and other quality audits.
To regularly interface with the client on understanding client requirements
To handle client calls on queries
To provide regular updates to customers on status of the project
To ensure that all customer complaints are addressed
To ensure post implementation technical assistance to clients.
To ensure that new/less experienced team members are trained on technical quality and behavioral aspects. To appraise team members on their performance during a project.
