Role & Responsibilities:
The Enterprise Advanced Services team seeks a Project Manager. In this role, you will be focusing on ensuring the success of customer engagements, managing the planning and execution of optimization efforts, and coordinating the interaction of internal and customer resources toward the completion of key consulting services. This position requires a strong knowledge of Cisco technologies and solutions, as well as an ability to effectively manage projects, timelines, budgets and resources. Coordinates Services Leaders and Cisco Engineers to fulfill tactical customer needs such as plan, design and implement customer networks, and Knowledge transfers to the customer
Partner with customer Architecture and Engineering Organizations to strategically positioning Cisco's Products and Solutions within our customers
Requires degree or equivalent plus 10+ years related experience in networking/telecommunications industry OR min 6-8 years managing LAN and/or WAN network implementation and support
6-8 years in a Clearly defined Project Management role
Project Management experience in the deployment of leading edge technologies in a highly complex commercial environment.
Professional PM Certification, PMP, Prince 2 or ITIL Service Management or equivalent.
Has professional project management training credentials (PMI).
Has basic knowledge of routing, routing protocols, switching, internet and general network architecture
Has a good knowledge on project communication, reporting, quality and financial management
Has demonstrated clear leadership skills and experience working with large project teams and strategic account teams.
Has a good knowledge of the sales process including risk assessment and scoping
Has demonstrated a good understanding of the legal issues with contracts as well as experience in developing Statements of Work
Has demonstrated advanced negotiation and presentation skills Understands the organization, aims and processes
