Work with client to identify business, technical, and reporting requirements.
Gather and document business, technical and reporting requirements that drive the metrics architecture for enterprise implementations.
Manage the data capture settings of the primary web analytics platform
Collaborate with technical development/web technology teams for the implementation of data capture techniques.
Diagnose data capture issues and work with teams to resolve
Validate and debug implementation and follow up until issues are resolved
Build tagging requirements and specifications for Adobe SiteCatalyst
Setting up new reporting suites, setting up and managing eVars, props and events
Coordinate with other business and technical owners that receive and process the SiteCalalyst data
Maintain documentation of technical implementations, and provide developer training and spec explanations
Enable all analytical tagging/reporting targets
Facilitate tag management strategy and design for the business
Role Specific Skills:
Experience in using and implementing Site Catalyst a must
Up to date with Site Catalyst best practices and industry research
Hand on experience with web analytic applications (e.g. Google Analytic, Adobe, Web trends, etc.)
Experience in tools like Discover and Report Builder
Experience with deploying and managing tag management systems (e.g. Adobe Tag Manager, Ensighten)
Proficient in SAINT classification
Experience working with databases (Microsoft SQL Server) is a plus
