Job Description

Assisting the PMU Head in taking key leadership decisions, managing the overall project and ensuring that it meets the desired objectives

Reviewing overall performance of system and providing corresponding recommendations on payments to be made to the IA including any incentives and penalties

Assisting in preparation of any change request documents by collating scope of changes, and supporting the PMU in managing the negotiations and implementation of the same with the IA and / or any other parties required for system integration and other related services

Validate the critical project deliverables such as SRS, design, solution architecture, deployment architecture

Support during the User Acceptance Testing for Release

Assist MSDE in continuous co-ordination among the multiple stakeholders on all the technical matters

Validate the recommendations of the Implementation Agency (and other stakeholders) on requirements with respect to additional hardware / system software / bandwidth / data center services

Assist Directorate or a third party agency in audits (Functional & Security, ISO 27001 Audits, License Audits, and Operational Audits)

Handholding the MSDE in ensuring the continuous functioning and maintenance of Data Centre and Disaster Recovery Centre over and above the responsibilities of the IA,

Facilitating MSDE for on-boarding/selection of any third parties through RFP Preparation and bid management for procuring supplementary services for the MIS project.

Monitor the implementation of document and source control tools

Oversee the version control of software and its controlled deployment in the production environment

Recommend to the Directorate, suitable changes in infrastructure, software and operational processes / procedures / guidelines to keep up with evolving needs and technologies

Support the NPIU / MSDE team in tracking and resolving technology related queries passed by helpdesk for resolution.
