Job Description

This position will report into the Head IT with a matrix reporting to the Plant Head:

Roles & Responsibilities include the following:

Conduct IT needs analysis in warehouse operations and related functions like logistics & SCM .

Understand the IT needs to enable effective and lean warehouse at dealerships.

Establishment of inventory control parameters and effective ETA (Expected Time of Arrival) visualization of service parts.

Responsible for the day-to-day support to end users on the business applications availability.

Maintaining SLAs for Application Sustenance.

Responsible for managing and supporting training activities to support the business operations.

Identify areas for Systems operations process improvement using fact based analysis and make recommendations.

Work with the Application sustenance teams to implement systems changes.

Help establish and implement improvements to IT-related policies, procedures, and processes, and help enable new technologies.

Make Capacity Planning for the Existing Applications to ensure business continuity.

Provide information on incidents to all the associated stake holders.

Ensure Process Adherence & Improvement.

Interact with vendors regarding technical support of software/hardware or third party services in cooperation with the Infrastructure Management and Application Maintenance organization.

Daily and weekly meetings with the development teams.

Candidate Profile:

Domain knowledge of Warehouse operations and Service parts Operations.
Functional knowledge of overall Supply Chain Management.
Techno functional knowledge on Procurement, Supply, Inventory and warehouse modules
Strong knowledge on Java/ J2EE experience
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to deal positively with vendors, customers and management
Ability to work within the provided budget and timelines
Good understanding of project management principles and SDLC.
Travel may be required to any of the offices located within or outside the country.
