Job Description

Primary Skills:

Client Management:

- Delivering high quality solutions on time and within budget, meeting clients- expectations.

- Setting up and managing client expectations.

- Account mining and developing lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.

- Strong management capabilities in dealing effectively with customer/s.

- Interfacing with the customer on all issues related to customer deliverables and customer feedback

- Ability to run project status review meeting with client independently

- Proven ability to negotiate with client on scope changes

- Administering Customer Satisfaction Survey at defined frequency and making and action plan based on feedbacks received

- Managing client escalations

Project Planning:

- Experience of using one or more project planning tool

- Knowledge of estimation techniques

- Skilled to do resource capacity planning and schedule effective resources to achieve project goals.


- Able to deliver project within the framework of the given estimates and assumptions

- Ensure all phases are delivered on time, within budget and with high quality

- Reviews, change control and configuration management in all phases are documented and implemented

- Strong understanding and experience with Strategic Sourcing for IT and services preferred.

- Experience in all aspects of business including delivery, operations, and technical service, preferred.

Quality Management:

- Experience in CMMI processes

- Ability to define project level quality parameters

- Experience in proactively controlling deviations in quality parameters through metrics analysis

Risk Management:

- Anticipate risks at customer's end and mitigate early.

- Proven ability in identify risks early in the projects, analyzing it and coming up with mitigation plan

- Understanding of different risk response strategy

- Understand political & competitive threats and strategize to respond to them.

- Issue escalation and resolution.

Team Management:

- Performance management.

- Ensure that the team works in proper coordination and in sync with the plans - anticipate personal and professional issues and help sort them out.

- Supervise and help the Development Manager / Tech Lead and team members. Also supervise the preparation of functional / technical specifications.

- Proven ability in engaging the team and coming up with different team building initiatives

- Understands the weaknesses and strengths of team members and motivates them through mentoring and guiding

- Mine the client account for more avenues of working together.

- Ensure account profitability.
