Job Description

Minimum professional and educational background desired (include years of experience).
o 4-Year bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science
o 8 to 10 years of experience
o Five (5) or more years of experience in the implementation, configuring, testing, administration and using PTC Windchill applications PDMLink and ProjectLink.
o Five (5) or more years of experience in the implementation, configuring, testing, administration and using PTC Creo applications.
o Experience with management techniques and practices including planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting.
o Evidence of managerial competencies including leadership, team-building, self-confidence, results orientation, interpersonal astuteness, and communications.
o Knowledge and understanding of business relationship management, system analysis, governance, project management and software development lifecycle.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate technology concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
o Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations.
o Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
o Excellent analytical skills, able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, work well in a demanding dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.
o Project management skills; financial/budget management, scheduling and resource management.
o Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary and virtual teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals.
o High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
o High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision.
o English language fluency
o Ability to travel up to 25% of time.
Important competencies / knowledge required
Process Improvement: Must be able to translate business requirements, illustrate and champion
the benefits of common processes. Must be able to understand VC-specific requirements and
work with the global team to make adjustments to support the implementation of the common
processes and technology standards.

PTC Windchill: Comprehensive knowledge of PTCs Windchill application suite and related
supporting applications such as IIS, Apache, Tomcat and Oracle.
PTC Creo: Comprehensive knowledge of PTCs Creo application suite.
Business Knowledge: Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing industry business processes,
systems and best practices for Engineered to Order, Build to Order and Discrete Manufacturing
