He/She is responsible for defining, planning, tracking and managing the project they are assigned.

Should have an ability to lead and motivate people and encourage teamwork, an ability to communicate effectively with senior management, and a clear vision of what determines a successful product for the customer and for the company.
Should be technically well grounded within the assigned area of work and should be capable of reviewing direct reports' technical competency.
Should be able to align group's objectives and re-prioritize the resources based on budget requirements to meet scheduled deliverables.
Should be able to provide objective, fact-based performance evaluations and follow through on HPD process for all reports.
Should be able set career development and training plans for the team members and provide timely recognition.
Should be able to translate organizational initiatives to the team members
Should be able to set goals and objectives for team members, and provides candid, timely feedback to employees regarding performance.
Should be well versed with Agile Methodologies and CSM certification is a value add
Should be able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and partners across the globe
