Job Description

The duties of the Project controller are as follows:

Financial control (internal responsibilities)
- Set up IETs
- Manage PMD ( internal project management system)
- Monitor and review bookings for all job numbers
- Monitor and review expenses and direct costs

Project controls (external responsibilities):

- Project reporting
- QES management including reports and e-forms
- Program management
- Change control / preparation of Variations /
monitoring scope creep
- Arranging invoices / chasing payment
- Requirements management
- Manage Document control

Candidate Specification
:
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:-

- Previous experience of cost and change control on major projects ideally rail
- Degree in civil engineering with relevant commercial experience
- Experience working in or with a multidisciplinary design consultancy
- Experience in financial management of projects
- Strong commercial focus
- Strong IT skills
- Highly capable in effective communications, internally within project teams and externally with contractors, stakeholders and public clients
- Ability to meet deadlines and work autonomously when required
- Middle East experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of document control
- Able to manage a small team consisting administrative and document control staff
