As Project Controller, you will be working in a client facing role managing processes and creating MI (Management Information) with respect to programme control, including major and minor capital across various business streams. There will be particular emphasis on spotting trends in large data sets.
Responsibilities and Duties include:
- Establishing, developing and managing procedures. - Developing and maintaining information systems including databases, spread sheets and management dashboards to inform business performance and facilitate intervention. - Analyzing reports to provide meaningful information and insight on performance. - Collating data and information from numerous sources for reporting and advise on issues. - Assisting in the production of new reports and ad hoc provision of information for one off requests. - Preparing presentation and reports for use by senior managers. - Monitoring business objectives to SMART KPI's and measures that lead to performance improvement. - Providing oversight and guidance to performance analysts -- Assist in preparing project control procedure and project baseline schedule -- Provide support to the Project Manager as and when required -- Making sure that all outgoing invoices to our clients are ready to go without any mistakes
We are looking for an individual with a Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline - minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within an engineering consultancy involved in major projects with experience in establishing programme and project office systems and imbedding Earned Value, Change Control, and performance management.
Experienced in Primavera 6 or similar software experience is required. The individual will have a full understanding knowledge of application of all stages of the project process:
Risk management scheduling; configuration control; project budgetary controls; project technical maturation; contract management; schedule and dependency management
