Job Description

As Program Manager- Knowledge Management, you will be responsible for leading a team and developing GE's enterprise strategy for Knowledge Management. You'll partner with business CIOs, ERP functional leaders, to stand-up the cloud-based solution, developing an onboarding and migration strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for budget management, as well as establishing a KM governance & PMO.

Collaborate with both global process and center PMOs, training leaders, and the CIO, ERP councils to implement and maintain an enterprise-wide knowledge management system for GE
Lead a team to deliver Knowledge Management roadmap; Guides team through NPI, data/content migration lifecycle
Acts a point-of-contact with internal and external IT service providers to ensure SLAs are met around system performance, availability. Implements remediation plans when SLAs are missed
Drives and is accountable for operational excellence of KM program(s), with duties including project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution and closure for all project work related to the program
Manages budgets and contracts associated with program(s) or initiative(s)
Manages activities of project team resources to support and deliver solutions relating to the program(s)
Maintains effective working relationships with peers and vendors to seamlessly integrate the program area into the overall strategic objectives and activities of the organization
Coordinates program support activities, including the development of internal and external communications, establishing roadmaps and benchmarks, and developing training plans
Promote documentation, delivery and compliance to standard operating procedures for migrated process work into the GO (Global Operations) centers
Develop centralized repository for GO processes and procedures
Help monitor and evaluate the knowledge-sharing program, including internal and external benchmarking
Establish KPIs and create analytical reporting of training tools to understand end user proficiency and simplification opportunities within training documentation across GO
Drive the enterprise data governance strategy for knowledge management, encompassing process and technology, in order to establish a sustainable business data discipline


Basic Qualifications:

B.S. in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field OR a minimum 7 years of work experience in IT project management
Minimum 3 years of work experience implementing, maintaining an enterprise-wide IT platform
Minimum 7 years of work experience in IT project management

Eligibility Requirements:

Must submit your application for employment through COS (Internal Candidates) or (External Candidates) to be considered for this opening
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be willing to work out of an office in Cincinnati, OH; Van Buren Township, MI (near Ann Arbor / Detroit), or Fairfield, CT
Must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act

Desired Characteristics

Minimum 3 years of experience managing a Knowledge Management platform (e.g. e Ancile uPerform or Oracle UPK)
Experience with establishing MSAs for off-premise/cloud-based solutions
Minimum 2 years of experience leading employees
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to articulate technical concepts in non-technical terms at all levels of the organization (including Senior IT and Business Leaders)
ITLP; AIMC graduate internal only
