Job Description

Functional Knowledge of Engineering, procurement and construction activities and coordination for required information.

Through knowledge of Multi discipline planning and scheduling, construction practices and productivity norms

Independently define, schedule, and manage the proposal process

Ability to understand and analyze the details of RFP

Able to deal with complex issues comfortably and manage deadlines

Energetic about challenges, self-motivated and able to focus on long term objectives and push for results

Ability to communicate all issues and solutions clearly and concisely

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including a clear and concise drafting style

Secure new business based on production of quality estimates and supporting analysis

Ensure efficient development of estimates and prices in alignment with operating and supporting departments

Allocate proposals to suitably qualified and experienced proposal estimators in a timely manner to ensure efficient proposal production and review

Maintain pricing records for key and repeat clients

Ensure the services element of contract estimates is developed to meet future company needs in terms of later stages of project execution

Ensure estimates are developed and issued in accordance with Policies and Procedures

Implement department initiatives to improve overall performance

Manage overall estimate development in compliance with procedures, undertaking audits as necessary, with full independent arithmetic check of all estimates

Undertake proposal and estimate reviews and attend/lead contract negotiations as set out in Procedures and as delegated by the Management.
