Job Description

Position: Product Manager

This is a unique opportunity to work with an early-stage VC funded company in the healthcare technology sector. Our Client is building a world-class healthcare marketplace in India. We are rapidly growing, and are operational at clinics/hospitals covering over 1200 doctors in Bangalore. They are looking for the best in class talent to join them and become future leaders in our journey of growth. Location : Bangalore

Job Description :

- Prepare product plan with financial targets and actions

- Own the product and its P and L statement

- Oversee and manage the product on daily basis

- Continuously track and monitor the competition and preparing benchmark report on the same

- Collaborate with usability and technology team to develop a deep understanding of customers, identify gaps in core product functionality and help build right set of features and track adoption for same

- Rigorously monitor key performance metrics and coordinate with various teams to take corrective actions, if needed

- Gather detailed functional requirements and create product requirement (PRDs) and other documents to support rapid development and effectively manage trade-offs between costs / schedules versus customer benefits

- Ensure PRDs, flow diagrams and wire frames are properly translated to live site and drive problem resolution once new features have gone live
- Define and conduct market research to gain better understanding about user behavior and competition. Gather information and data from multiple sources (consumer research, partners, vendors, competitive analysis), develop insights, and translate findings into action

- Engage in defining a strategic creative direction for product and marketing communication

- Provide analytics based insights to help marketing team optimize marketing spends

- Champion customer satisfaction by working with customer support team, oversee customer grievance resolution and trouble shoot in case of escalations

- Work with various support teams to manage operational issues such as fulfilment, external partner relationships, legal and other compliances

- Work with finance and accounting team to identify key cost and revenue drivers for product areas, obtain financial evaluations from finance team for new business options.

You must have:

- Bachelors in Engineering / IT (only from IIT/NIT/REC/NSIT). MBA preferred but not mandatory.

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a techno business role

- Past experience in an internet company or in product management role

- A high level of interest and passion for consumer internet world

- Understands tech/product/business and straddle all

- A positive attitude and desire to break the traditional barriers in Healthcare Technology services

- Ability to communicate and defend your ideas clearly

- Phenomenal debugging principles and perseverance

- A desire to build products that users love

- An up to date knowledge of the newest technologies
