Job Description

Responsibilities

Work with the Product Management team to drive and oversee the vision, roadmap, and product planning
Define, document and manage our API strategy and work closing with our platform and application development teams to rapidly deliver new robust capabilities
Work with Core Technical Architects to scope, design, implement and test platform capabilities
Lead cross functional project teams to ensure new platform solutions are innovative, easy to use and easy to deploy while meeting customer requirements and commitments
Be a spokesperson and evangelist for platform and API strategy
Stay abreast of current technology trends and designs among leading enterprise and consumer platform companies
Gather and analyze product requirements, develop functional specifications, and ensuring that design and specification quality is consistent across various projects to maintain highest levels of product quality
Solve complex problems across multiple industries and clients
Work with clients and partners to ensure successful delivery of platform capabilities from beta release through general availability
Analyze and research broader market trends, technology trends, competitors, and industry analyst feedback
Gather input and feedback from all teams including Development, Sales, Consulting, Marketing, Sales, and Subject Matter Experts

Required Skills and Experience

In-depth knowledge of platform and PaaS architectures
Experience working with and building REST-based APIs
Technical experience building highly scalable transactional systems in a cloud delivery model
Requires a BS/BA degree
Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience
Desire to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Excellent communication, writing, and presenting skills
Ability to brainstorm, think outside the box, and turn to others for guidance and feedback
Technical experience strongly desired
Some travel required (~10%)
