Define products, enlarge the range in agreement with Division recommendations.
Evaluate and establish network of suppliers for the supply of the ingredients for the VAP and negotiate deals. Ingredients would include specific admixtures, fibbers, colours specific equipments, complementary product, coloured aggregates, etc.
Build partnerships with potential co-development partners (for example: floor heating systems for screedhellip).
Ensure that all elements of VALUE BASED PRICING are understood and reflected in the pricing strategy formulation and implementation.
Recommend price and margin levels for the specific VAP based on the value for the customer.
Ensure follow up to check if recommendations are adopted by market.
Coordinate with Operations and QC
Co-ordinate with the QC to ensure product quality, compliance to standards and norms.
Ensures that QC department is lobbying in standards and norms bodies.
Selects with Operations (areas and zones) the proper plants to produce his/her product.
Prepare deployment plan and follow up to ensure completion.
Define the promotion strategy for the product based on the inputs from the market surveys and understanding of the customer segments.
Translate the international Brochures of the VAP.
Organize national / BU promotional events.
Co-ordinate with the Area team local area promotional events.
Identify right channels for promotion.
Coaching VAP Specialist and Sales team
Prepare support documents for VAP Specialist and Sales team based on the learning from the sites.
Conduct training sessions for the sales teams.
Undertake joint visits to coach VAP specialists and provide guidance and assistance to the VAP specialist in complicated cases.
Benchmark market area performances on parameters including volume, margins, penetration, etc
Defines approach in agreement with Division
Work closely with the Applicator Manager on how to develop the applicator network
Approves applicators proposed by VAP specialists and area teams.
For applicators support, put in place demonstrator (s)
Trains the applicators
Pro actively manages his/her product as a project
Organises and manages management committees for his/her product (steering, operating, technical committees)
