Job Description

Brief Description of the position:
Responsible for strategic engagement with customer to surface latent opportunities and increase penetration within identified portfolios and in line with the BU vision of transitioning to a solutions organization. Oversees delivery teams and works closely with Our Client's COE's/Solutions team to fulfill opportunities.

Desired Skills/Experience and Qualifications:
MBA from a reputed institute with a minimum of 15 years experience -- preferably with a large consulting firm or IT services organization (treat this as a must have)
Effective spoken and written communication skills
Strong client relationship/ account management background with exposure to sales process
Experience in handling/ managing multiple projects or large programs
Led / managed teams in prior roles. Experience managing delivery teams is mandatory. Preferably team's with size ~100 resources or handling business worth $5 million/annum
Automotive domain knowledge will be preferred
Experience in creating/ presenting/ defending proposals/ SoW's
Willing to travel -- NA (Dearborn), EU (Cologne) or China (Shanghai) when required

Primary Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Global Business Leader to understand portfolio trends, opportunities, projects and devise suitable approach
Engage with LL5 and LL6 managers at Ford or equivalent at other customers to identify latent opportunities for services and solutions and increase penetration
Be the final point of escalation for serious concerns where a Delivery Manager's involvement might not be sufficient
Conduct root cause analysis of escalations for process improvement
Actively contribute to sales and operations review cascade forecasts to relevant teams
Take complete ownership of architecture and solutions part of RFP
Mentor Delivery Managers and enable their performance
Manage partner and COE relationships to fulfill opportunities
Demonstrate role model behavior to propagate the Our Client brand and BU vision
Regularly conduct skip level meetings with employees to stay in touch with the pulse and drive relevant action plans
Create and own domain expertise/ knowledge management
Ensure enforcement of individual development plans
Financial metrics shall be in line with the BU budgets and the strategic plan. These shall be discussed with the individual in the respective role.
Each of the four categories of KPIs shall carry equal weightage towards annual performance measurement

Not relevant. However, SAP knowledge will be a big advantage.
