Develops and manages major policies, programs, and practices in the implementation of strategies to drive operations towards world-class operating levels.

Aligns to coordinate decisions on technology and operational best practices.
Responsible for the evaluation and implementation of new manufacturing methods and new products ensuring cost, quality and productivity gains will be realized.
Establishes methods to maintain inventory goals consistent with operational, marketing and distribution plans within global targets.
As needed, coordinates new product introductions with appropriate departments and ensure that the manufacturing, the materials functions, order administration, and service parts support product commercialization roll out schedules.
