Job Description

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join us in our Supply Chain Center of Excellence Team, in Bangalore, IN. Supply Chain Analyst specializing in our Product Optimization and Global Supply Chain Transfer. This position will lead both these key corporate initiatives and be responsible driving the savings associated with product consolidation and supply chain operational efficiencies. This is a high visible position, which requires knowledge of planning, forecasting, marketing, production, freight, compliance and tax. It will eventually include supervisory duties; therefore strong leadership skills are also required.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The key deliverables would be:

Transition and consolidation of Tech Transfer/ SKUs from one plant to another plant.
Publishing the Schedule reports on time with 100% Accuracy.
Build Efficiency and Productivity through Supply chain Operational Excellence.
Create value by analysis key points for Business Impact.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Analysis CAS and Product information to identify potential product consolidation candidates.
Analysis demand and sales data to determine potential impact of consolidation on sales
Gather and review supply chain to data that could impact the consolidation or product transfer decision.
Compile all relevant marketing, sales and supply chain data and recommend optimal product profile offering and optimal product production, package and distribution profile.
Support in Project Management
Responsible to acknowledge customer related queries/request to his/her respective activity with consultation of TL and Manager.
Create and provide training to the backup.
Work as a team, support each other and do knowledge sharing.
Ad-hoc request execution.
Creation, Updating & Validation of Process documents
Identify & execute Kaizen / BPI projects.
Get trained on tools and applications required for the Business. And seek for help from TL and Manager (if required).
Participation in business calls and meetings
Communication: Pass communication to TL/Manager regarding any new Project transition and ad-hoc requests.
Functionally support to the team (Best Practices, Knowledge Sharing, Tactical Support)
Good in handling large data sets and has the ability to convert it in to meaningful information

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Business / Technical degree
Experience with MRP / ERP systems
Experience working in a dynamic manufacturing environment
Excellent quantitative skills
Strong experience with M.S. Office, and other PC based programs, especially Microsoft Access
Proven ability to handle complex projects and work within cross-functional teams
Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred experience includes:

APICS/IBF Certification
ISO / GMP Quality Systems
Forecasting, Inventory Control, Purchasing
Demonstrated problem solving, Root cause analysis and Process Improvement skills

Systems & Tools:

Worked in SAP & Data Warehouse Modules.
Basic Excel & Access

Experience:

Bachelor with 6- 7 Yrs.exp in SCM vertical.
Or Masters with 3-5 Yrs. Exp in Operational and SCM steam.

Managed Project Crossing Different Boundaries.
Proven Project management Skills
Able to link Relevant SCM business process
Knowledge of various systems hosting different kind of data
Use of SharePoint for Data Management
Must knowledge about SCM Processes
Knowledge on Cost out savings and utilities.
