Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Provides PeopleSoft Admin & Oracle DBA ,PS Weblogic technical expertise, delivery and thought leadership within the PeopleSoft HR, Portal and Enterprise Learning Application suites, version 9.1/9.2.
Single Point of Contact for all PeopleSoft Infrastructure and manage all facets of Infrastructure including sizing, ongoing maintenance & upgrade.
Research on applying patches required. Perform Tools upgrades, Tools patches, application patches, fixes, tax updates, Service Pack Upgrades and Major Application upgrades & Reapply customizations based on compare reports.
Provide Technical support, Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the upgrades & work with Oracle PeopleSoft to resolve issues.
Support & provide integration solution to application with third party integration.
Manage Disaster Landscape
Setup DR Landscape for PS instances.
Ensure PR & DR are in Sync.
Conduct Periodic DR drills in co-ordination with Group HR users.
Ensure Installation/Creation of database (DB), DB Refresh, DB Administration, DB backups, DB Migration & maintain DB to support the PeopleSoft Application.
Ensure technical support for any DB related issues for the PeopleSoft Application & Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve problems reported users on the database.
Routinely review database logs to review alerts and ensure corrective actions as deemed necessary.
Ensure DB health checks frequently viz.
Tuning database parameters for optimal performance.
Monitor table growth.
Monitor database availability.
Monitor Oracle alert logs for any issues with the application.
Execute DDL/DML statements on database as and when required.
Manage and maintain database security and database configuration.
Ensure Application of database patches and fixes as per requirements and vendor recommendations.
