The Payroll & Benefit Supervisor will be responsible for managing and guiding the associates with the activities related to payroll administration, payroll processing, payroll reconciliation, monthly, quarterly & yearend processing, reporting etc and also he will be responsible for administering benefits for the customer organization within the captive shared service environment.
He/ She would need to contribute as per overall service framework so that he/ she meets or exceeds agreed KPIs and SLAs defined between Operating Companies and shared service
1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

To monitor & control payroll and benefits input process from start to finish across the Company and recommend process / system changes as required. (Consolidation of inputs and reconciliation).
To serve as a single point of contact for Payroll and Benefits as well as manage service delivery for these processes.
To guide and manage her/ his team and ensure payments through payroll and reimbursements, etc
To guide & manage her/his for performing activities related to annual and ad-hoc enrolment for various benefit plans.
To attend to employee queries and providing guidance on payroll and benefits, income tax, perquisites.
To communicate timelines, facilitate retirement & long-service recognition, work-related individual/team contribution recognition through Spot, monthly, quarterly awards and coordinating with the selection panels for award finalization.
Ensure on-cycle and off-cycle payments to employees within defined timelines.
Manage timely communication to employees related to benefits administration, payroll etc
To manage monthly, quarterly & yearly activities related to reporting, compliance, Payroll and benefits, etc
Collaborate with the Service Management team to understand and effectively implement SLA.
Ensure that Internal Customer and Supplier issues are dealt with in accordance with the escalation process and push back where this is not the case
Carry out people management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including.
Plan, assign and direct work.
Appraise performance; provide feedback and coaching, and reward and discipline employees.
Provide opportunities for learning and self-development, and facilitate the development of technical competencies.
Responsible for driving employee engagement etc for the team.
Facilitate effective team work and builds collaborative relationships internally and externally.
2. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Skills & Desired Experience
4-7 years of experience managing a client-service oriented function preferable a KPO.
Experience in Transition of payroll from Business to Shared services.
Experience and good knowledge of Compensation & Benefits & Payroll and Leave & Time administration processes including best practices, technologies, processes, procedures and tools preferable for India context.
Result oriented, with high level of motivation for self-growth, along with the drive for growing self and overall organization;
Entrepreneurial spirit with high motivation and enthusiasm to learn.
Ability to utilize information from a wide variety of sources
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
Experience in Indian Payroll is mandatory.
