Job Description

Senior Management Role Business Head managing clients in management consulting and advisory relationships. Responsible for Business UNIT P L, Resource Utilization, builds a detailed client portfolio.

Takes responsibility for building a team, a leadership pipeline. Manages a team of chartered accountants, business school graduates and experienced professionals.

Interacts at the C Suite level to build relationships. Manages projects with clear deliverables and deadlines. Strong values, clear alignment with ethics, Governance, risk management practices.

Responsible for building a business around key clients and targets.

Can be located in over ten locations in India ( All major metros). Uncompromising standards of excellence in all actions towards the client, the firm and people.


Partner - Practice and Sector Expert - Client Engagement Leader who builds long term credible relationships with clients, regulators, stakeholders, board, audit committee and independent ombudsman. A strong ethical mindset - To lead engagement programs, management of large teams of directors, senior managers, managers, focused planning for completion,effective auditing actions, process management, rigorous and compliant, deep understanding of sectors / industries, ensure execution of world class project management practices through effective supervision, quality standards, enabling best practices, following compliance guidelines to meet with the best of standards, maintain regular updates to audit committee, provide appropriate evaluation of situation, ensure data and evidence for all decisions, provide data and evidence for all comments and qualifications, risk profiling, assessment and adherence with the standards of the firm, effective closure of client deliverables and mandates through on time implementation, effective and efficient utilization of the audit team resources for a specified client. Partnership requires management of multiple clients, business boards.

Key Responsibility Areas

Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they arise.
Initiating ''cross selling'' business to other practices.
Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients
Keeping abreast of latest developments as they affect this role and the Firm's standards and policies
To facilitate risk identification at the operational level in order to optimize risks for maximum business leverage
To ensure engagement planning, reporting, review and implementation yield value to the company in terms of cost savings, revenue protection, improved efficiencies and quality of systems and processes
To appraise Head of Management Consulting findings and risk assessment relating to the project engagement, economy and efficiency of the company's resources
Directing and driving the success of multiple engagements.
Attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
Keeping lines of communication open with staff and clients.
Ability to manage within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction
Developing an understanding of client's business and becoming a ''functional expert'' in the area.
Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients.
Work to expand client base and supports business development activities.
Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
Verifies quality and standards by comparing items to documentation.
Completes program work papers by documenting tests and findings.
Appraises adequacy of internal control systems by completing internal checks and questionnaires.
Maintains internal control systems by updating process control programs and questionnaires; recommending new policies and procedures.
Communicates engagement findings by preparing a final report; discussing findings with consulting colleagues, clients, partners
Complies with federal, state, and local security legal requirements by studying existing and new security legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Prepares special programs and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating information and trends.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Examine and analyze business records to determine financial - credit status of establishment and prepare reports concerning operating procedures.
Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
Report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.
Prepare detailed reports on intetnal project findings.
Review data about material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures.
Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.
Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity

Qualifications & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Management, Accounting or Finance or Commerce preferred.
MBA, MMS, BBA, BMS, CPA, ACCA, ACMA, CHRP or CIA preferred.Ph D would be a critical competitive advantage. Business Provess, TQM, Audit, Legal Compliance, Documentation Skills, Attention to Detail, Reporting Research Results, Thoroughness, Presentation Skills, Financial Software, Corporate Finance, SFAS Rules, US GAAP, FAAS, Objectivity in data management. Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills. Systems knowledge and familiarity

Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.
A successful record of attracting, hiring, retaining, and managing an audit team
Experience in communicating with clients'' senior management.
Technically proficient in management consulting methods
Ability to work within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction
Practice development experience.
Working Conditions: Normal office environment; Approximately 50% travel.
