B. Authority And Responsibility
a. Oversee and report the functioning of various medical departments (registrar and Housemen, casualty,
pharmacy, medical records, Wards, ICU/OT complex, CSSD, OPD, Pharmacy, etc.)
b. Take daily round in the wards and handle grievances, streamline operations.
c. To resolve matters related to operations, patient grievances, employee-patient interactions, inter
employee interface, medical resources, and quality clinical performances on day to day basis, if
required in consultation with the CEO/ Medical Director
d. To monitor the pharmacy operations, inventory, optimal utilization of resources, employ best practices for
maximum revenue generation.
e. To submit periodical report on the operational problems, human resource issues, medico legal issues,
clinical issues to the CEO/ Medical Director.
f. To recommend, as when required, newer developments and policy changes regarding medical

which comes under his direct control.
n. To prepare budget in alliance with the finance incharge and consultation with the Senior Officers.
o. Participating in departmental resource allocation, in all the fields including finance, human resources and
material, and ensuring that there exist no discrepancies.
p. To conduct periodical meetings of all the department heads to discuss various issues pertain to the
organization; and conduct relevant departments meeting to resolves issues relevant to them.
