3-4 years experience in LAN and WAN support and configuration
2-3 years experience with liaison with telecommunications carrier services for the resolution of service
tickets assigned to Service providers
1-2 years firewall day to day management with the defined task list
2-3 years of usage experience with network management tools (only at User level)
3-4 Hands on level 1 experience required on following OEM products.
For Cisco : Monitor and manage level 2 tasks related to Routers /Switches and ASA firewall logs
HPN : Data products and limited knowledge on HP Networking routers and switches. products desired.
Other OEM products : Fortinet Firewalls.
Extensive experience on CISCO and routers and switches.
Extensive Experience on Brocade Switches
Knowledge of Fortigate /Checkpoint firewalls is preferable.
Should have experience of in management of Citrix load balancer
Good understanding of LAN/WAN Architecture, LAN switching with VLAN, routing protocols, MPLS, Firewalls, HIPS, NIPS, Web Gateway Security products like Proof point log analyzer etc.
Excellent customer service skills and awareness
ITIL Process Foundation Certified (Preferable) else knowledge of ITIL is mandatory
High level of troubleshooting skills
High commitment to quality
Medium level of verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with team members
Clear theoretical knowledge on data network architecture , routing and switching protocols
Flexibility in Work timings and schedules
