Execute on injection moulding and tooling projects to support new tools and equipment introduction.
Develop User Requirements Specifications for new injection moulding tools and equipment.
Lead and actively participate in design reviews for new injection moulding tools and equipment to ensure robust designs to meet end requirements.
Design and optimize injection moulding processes through the use of Design of Experiments (DOE).
Lead and actively participate in equipment acceptance trials at vendor and on site and ensure all requirements are met.
Develop project status reports and issue on a routine basis to management.
Validation of new processes and development of technical documentation.
Seek and Implement improvement opportunities for safety, quality and efficiency.
Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry.
Minimum 5 years of experience with injection moulding processes.
Must have a very good knowledge of Injection Molding (standard process and Multi component), Processing, Ancillary equipment, Robots and automation systems.
Knowledge of mould tool design.
Working knowledge of AutoCad and/or Solidworks.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills; statistical knowledge/experience would be advantageous.
Results driven with proven ability to prioritize work.
Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Good working knowledge of validation and quality systems.
Excellent report writing is essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Available to travel when required.
