work and/or services on the project
Execution of Water Steam Cycle equipment activities on assigned project and proposal.
Supports the Project Engineering Manager in their project activities
Shall be accountable for the correctness of his specifications, technical replies and for the correctness of his document follow-up schedule.
Ensure a coordinated approach in all areas with the other Engineering Activities;
Ensure leadership and motivation by establishing an open and broad communication of the principles,
objectives and targets of the project including the feedback communication;
Supports the Department Head with identification of training needs, planning, execution and follow-up of
the appropriate training as required for own project members;
The Lead Engineer Water Steam Cycle has the responsibility for the technical management of the
equipment in the steam water cycle in Large Size Sub-Critical and Super-Critical Thermal Power
Plants . The equipment will include various equipment like Heat Exchangers, Power cycle Heaters ,
Flash Boxes, Deaerator, Condenser, WSC Pumps , Drive turbine, HP_LP Bypass Valves and special
valves including control Valves etc.
Responsible for following specific tasks:
The preparation/review of Equipment specifications,
P&ID, All kind of layouts, installation drawings;, Consumer list; HAZOP, 3D-Model review; Technical Specifications prepared by others; Construction / Erection Sub-contracts.The development of technical specification for all equipment, Inquiry requisitions; Technical bid evaluation; Purchase order requisitions; Technical tender Analysis, Negotiate and agree with the suppliers the technical solution of the equipment, Check and approval of vendor documentation.
And that it complies with contract client technical document requirements and contract time schedule for delivery of equipment and documents
Lead Engineer is responsible to set-up and maintain the project documentation with the tools acc. to the Execution Centre standard.
Support the preparation of the Quality Control Plan (QCP)
Support Procurement in the management of all claims and variations from the subcontractor.
