Job Description

Qualification: Bachelor of Fisheries Science

Sector : Seafood

Experience: Marketing, quality control & seafood processing

Job Specifications:

Approximately 8-10 years of experience of marketing, quality control & processing in seafood industry (Nigerian experience will be an advantage).
Thorough knowledge of seafood product
Knowledge of HACCP implementation and maintaining the system as per international standards
Familiar with requirement of various international certification (FOS, MSC, BAP, ASC etc)
Having knowledge of seafood microbiology
A proven ability to oversee all marketing activities including import & export documentation
Inventory & logistic management
Role Summary & Responsibility:
Responsible to handle logistic, shipping requirement for export activity
Responsible for marketing and distribution of company's product
To develop and maintain HACCP (Hazard analysis and critical control points) system
To maintain the system, documentation and handle audit from international agencies on various certification (FOS, MSC, BAP, ASC etc)
To oversee cold room logistic activities and inventory management
Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the sales department. This should detail the years activity to meet agreed company objectives.
Cost & budget management.
To manage all aspects of packaging material, print, production and inventory.
To managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities in close coordination with production, quality control and Processing department.

Candidate Profile
