Job Description

Required Skills and Expertise :- Financial Services, Leadership,Management,Sales,Strategy

Leadership:

  • Directly report to CEO of the group
  • Help CEO in developing a vision and strategic plan to guide the company to growth and generate revenue
  • Foster effective team work between the Senior Management and the local team
  • Act as a spokesperson for our company in Hongkong
  • Represent the our company in Hongkong for all financial services and investment related activities to enhance company profile in the market
  • Managing local team by regular communication
  • Set up clear objectives for each team member and review their performance from time to time to make sure they can perform their jobs well
Operational planning and management:
  • Develop an operational plan and operating manuals which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction for our company in Hongkong
  • Ensure that the operation of our company in Hongkong meets the expectations of its clients, Board and Investors
  • Oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day investment/sales activities and operation of our company in Hongkong
  • Draft policies for the approval of CEO or and prepare procedures to implement the company policies; review existing policies on an annual basis and recommend changes to CEO as appropriate
  • Ensure that personnel, client, investors files are securely stored and privacy/confidentiality is maintained
Sale operation and Business Development:
  • Responsible for strategy, setting profit-based sales targets, quotas, sales forecasting, demand management and the writing and execution of a sales plan.
  • Generate business opportunities by meeting clients of different market segments.
  • Expand sales channels targeting both high net-worth and institutional clients
  • Cross selling of company products including Forex, Equities and Money Lending etc. and arrange regular clients calls and visits to increase sales volume
Human resources planning and management:
  • Determine staffing requirements for company management and program delivery
  • Oversee the implementation of the human resources policies, procedures and practices including the development of job description for our company in Hongkong
  • Establish a positive, healthy and safe work environment in accordance with all appropriate legislation and regulations
  • Recruit, interview and select staff that have the right technical and personal abilities to help further the company's mission
  • Ensure that all staff receives an orientation to the company and that appropriate training is provided to maintain the fit and proper criteria
  • Implement a performance management process for all staff which includes monitoring the performance of staff on an on-going basis and conducting an annual performance review
  • Coach and mentor staff as appropriate to improve performance
  • Discipline staff when necessary using appropriate techniques; release staff when necessary using appropriate and legally defensible procedures
Financial planning and management:
  • Work with CEO to prepare a comprehensive budget
  • Research funding sources, oversee the development of fund raising plans and write funding proposals to increase the funds for our company in Hongkong
  • Participate in fundraising activities as appropriate in need basis
  • Approve expenditures within the authority delegated by the Board
  • Ensure that sound bookkeeping and accounting procedures are followed
  • Administer the funds of the our company in Hongkong according to the approved budget and monitor the monthly cash flow of the company
  • Provide the CEO with comprehensive, regular reports on the revenues and expenditure of the our company in Hongkong
  • Ensure that our company in Hongkong complies with all legislation covering taxation and withholding payments
Risk and Compliance management:
  • Identify and evaluate the risks to the Hongkong office's people (clients, staff, management), property, finances, goodwill, and image and implement measures to control risks
  • Ensure that the company in Hongkong carries appropriate and adequate insurance coverage
  • Ensure that local staff understand the terms, conditions and limitations of the insurance coverage
  • Compliance assurance/internal audit to ensure controls and procedures are effective
Qualifications

Education and Experience
  • University degree or above in business management or related field
  • A minimum of 12+ years of relevant working experience, at least 7 years' of which must be in the capacity of Director of Sales and/or Country Manager with proven sales management track record for Financial Institutions
  • Proven managerial abilities in strategic planning, budgeting and profit and loss analysis
  • Excellent leadership ability to lead, inspire and motivate the sales & marketing team and maintain daily smooth operation.
