Job Description

  • Understand and support store operations, policies and procedures
  • Perform environmental and safety audits and comply with governmental regulations
  • Purchases inventory by researching emerging products; anticipating buyer interest; verifying receipt in line with P.O.
  • Preparation of GRN (Good Receipt Note) and offering to QA.
  • Shifting of components to store stock in its allocated place after QA Acceptance.
  • Issue of materials to production dept. as per MRS note.
  • Sending back Rejections to supplier with Debit note.
  • Inventory maintenance as per industry standard.
  • Perpetual Audit taking for A & B class items.
  • Physical verification of items 100% by year end.
  • Maintaining store as neat & clean and keeping components in systematic manner.
  • Issue the components as per FIFO basis.
  • Maintains a safe and clean store environment by developing and publishing evacuation routes; determining and documenting locations of potentially dangerous materials and chemicals.
  • Manage Freight and dept. expenses to optimize results 
  • Prepare and/or oversee preparation of necessary reports and paperwork 
  • Maintain staffing levels consistent with business needs to ensure excellent customer service (Includes assisting with recruiting, hiring and training employees) 
  • Ensure adequate shift coverage which may require the Store Manager to cover shifts in the event there are no other employees available to work 
  • Prepare on-going and timely performance appraisals for all employees, providing proper performance based feedback 
  • Develop the subordinates to next level upgrading readiness 
  • Maintain effective, professional relationships with subordinates, vendors and service providers 
  • Communicate up and down to ensure proper flow of information 
  • Support company maintenance standards to optimize asset life 
  • Ensure that all required employment related posters and signs are in a place that is easily accessible to all employees 
  • Manage and assign tasks appropriately to ensure the stores are clean, adequately stocked, organized, well kept and correctly (6S) 
  • Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner 
  • Promote safe, positive public image within the neighboring community 
  • Establish periodic on-going communication meetings with all store employees 
  • Accepts ownership, is accountable and delivers on commitments 
  • Encourages teamwork
