Provide leadership and supervision to the Supply Chain functions and Teams in India - Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Operations, Purchasing and Customer Service. Also responsible for the management of external warehousing and logistics service providers within India.
Implement GBU standard Supply Chain IT tools, processes, policies and procedures within India to support global optimization.
Ensure Supply Chain compliance with relevant Safety, Environmental and Quality standards and policies within the India perimeter.
Ensure international trade compliance within India and optimization of associated costs (duties, etc.).
Provide input into annual budgeting process and manage India Supply Chain costs.
Collaborate with other GBU functions within the region (Commercial, Manufacturing, Finance, HR etc.) to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of overall operations.
Represents the Supply Chain function within the GBU India; act proactively within the GBU India Management Team and the Asia Regional Supply Chain Team.
Establish effective working relationships with Corporate Functions within India to support overall effectiveness of operations.
Implement, track and adapt to agreed upon KPIs within India in order to drive performance excellence.
Leverage the existing Supply Chain resources and knowledge to drive continuous improvement. Provide input to long term resource planning to support business growth.
Ensure continued development of personnel in order to support business needs.
