The fund caters to global investors and ability to work across time zones is an absolute necessity for the role.


Contact Management

Support the marketing campaign through contact list development and updates. Update CRM system and prepare update schedule. Initiate first round of contact where needed. Schedule and maintain a roadshow, event and meetings calendar.

Marketing Materials

Create and update the marketing packet - Presentation, factsheets, track records, due diligence questionnaire, OM/PPM, subscription document etc. Compile and update historical client communication - newsletters, white papers, annual reports etc. Create and maintain a list of anticipated questions and most appropriate responses at all times. Ensure consistent branding in internal and external communications - Logo, folders, etc. Assist in responding to RFPs and maintain a schedule of RFPs for India investments

Client Due-diligence

Prepare a - backgrounder- on clients - updated annually and whenever there is a material change in client information. Conduct informal KYC and suitability assessment. Create a 'generally requested' data set and update it on a regular basis (monthly where appropriate but no less frequent than quarterly). Ensure the investment team responds to ad-hoc requests from clients on a timely manner

Client Communication

Point of contact for the client ops team - for all forms and documents. Generate and maintain a 'required documentation' list and a 'secondary documentation' list. Create a milestone calendar based on our experiences and work with the process to minimise surprises. Complete the formal KYC in coordination with the ops and compliance team

Maintain a service level agreement with the client to set appropriate expectation on time and suitability of requests (What we will provide and what we won't). Update common requests regularly (eg: performance report to be updated every month by the 5th). Anticipate frequent requests from specific investors and proactively engage in distribution of the same to the investor

Regular Communication

Create and maintain distribution lists for Quarterly reports, statements etc. Maintain updated distribution lists and update the 'do not solicit/do not call/do not mail' lists and the - unreachables- list (bouncebacks, out of office, re-directs etc.). Generate post communication reports on efficiency and effectiveness (% reached, responses, unsubscribes etc.). Ensure communication sent to clients by anyone related to the fund - the team, fund administrator etc. follows internal policies and standards.

Client Visits (both onsite and client office)

Prep the team prior to the client visits - background, focus areas, communication style, purpose etc. Update CRM reports post client visits and distribute it to the relevant team members.


Work with other team members to determine reason(s) for the redemption requests. Complete 'Exit interview' and ensure timely follow-up and payout.

Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance or related fields.

Experience: Minimum 3 years- experience in marketing, financial product marketing highly preferred but not necessary. Must have experience dealing with clients directly, financial services is a plus.

Skills: Should have excellent communication (verbal and written communication) skills. Success is directly correlated to ability to engage with and enjoy the time spent with diverse set of investors. Should be a quick learner and MS Office proficiency is a must. Basic knowledge of investing, especially private equity and hedge funds, is expected.

Should be able to work independently, under direct supervision of the Head of Investor Relations and Business Development.
