Reports to Divisional Manager / AGM / DGM
Education Bachelors in Engineering from reputed Institution.
Minimum 5-8 yrs experience in Automotive industry.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Co-ordinate development activities for proto and series production for Load Body and sheet metal components. Plan, co-ordinate ,manage localization of parts and approval as per business case and new vehicle launch programme.Liase with engineering, purchase,suppliers and quality team throughout all stages of development. Preparation of reports for departmental review meetings related to localisation, CFT,quality Gate review in vehicle programme. Co-ordinate for localization/development for vehicle build, line trial,upto sop and series production.
Required Skill and Knowledge:
Hands on experience in with various contemporary technologies frame,Chassis and Cab suspension,Casting and Forging and sheet metal components. Familiar with automotive product development and vendor development system in auto sector. Knowledge on manufacturing process and methods is must Hands on expereince and Knowledge on PPAP, FMEA, GD&T. Ensure,report and improve supplier overall performance by deploying efficient supplier management process Control supplier planning according to APQP standard and preparation of proto and series production
Proven project management skill and experience.Should be able to do programme management with various tracking tool
Ability to plan,organise,prioritise and manage the work effectively to ensure task are completed to a high standard with agreed timescale Present information in a logical order with clear guidelines and ability to use own initiative to management Interpret oral and written material,grasp key points and take forward any necessary action Personal skills Ability to work without supervision. Leadership ability to lead team members to meet departmental goal for new product launch
