Job Description

We are actively seeking a Land Referencing Manager to join our Land and Property team. In this role, you will be based in our Croydon office.

Responsibilities will include;

Collaborating with the environmental, design and engineering professional service consultants.
Extensive stakeholder management; including general public property owners, residents associations, land agents, local authorities and solicitors
Undertaking onsite land referencing
Overseeing the production of Standing Orders notices, access agreements and associated access plans.
Attending client meetings and public consultations
Assisting with project management and controls, including weekly and monthly reporting
Management of the production of the Book of Reference.
Maintain the internal project documentation
Draft monthly project reviews for the project manager

Assisting in producing bids and other business development opportunities

Candidate Specification
Ideal candidate will have:

A bachelor's degree in geography, land management, planning or management.
5+ years' experience in the land referencing projects.
Experience of costing land referencing projects for retained and new clients
Understanding of land ownership, covenant and right of way identification
Knowledge of inputs into Development Consent Orders, Transport & Works Act Orders and Hybrid Bills. Experience in land referencing and preparation of Plans and Books of Reference
An understanding of GIS and preferably experience apply it inland referencing
The ability to attend client meetings and be 'client facing'
Experience within a consultancy environment.
Good understanding in engineering and environmental processes
Demonstrated ability to manage projects, administer contracts and control budgets.
Must be a good team worker and decision maker.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
