The Corporate Counsel will report to the CEO of DHP. This person will be required provide guidance and direction to senior leadership team and employees with emphasis.The person will also be expected to take care of statutory / regulatory compliance.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Structuring responses to patients / subscribers complaints;
Structuring of contracts or any kind of service or vendor agreements;
Vetting/Review of documents, orders, notices and the like;
Formulation of protocols and medical records and documents;
Rendering consultative legal opinion and advise;
Presenting lectures and initiating group discussions Continuing Medico-Legal (CMLE) Programs;
Generating pertinent Regulatory Compliance Reports;
Vetting promotional material from Regulatory and Ethical perspective;
Drafting response to any legal notices, letters pertaining to any kind of legal issues and
Any other appropriate legal service as required by the company
Litigation services including appearances before Courts, Forums or any authorities, drafting pleadings and the like are excluded from the ambit of this employment. However, in case of need we undertake to render appropriate litigative services for which you will be able to engage a professional firm.
You are bound by client-attorney privileges.
Qualifications and desirable attributes:
Minimum 7 years of experience as Corporate Counsel.
At least10 + years experience as a lawyer / attorney.
At least 10+ years experience in court appeaanes.
Demonstrated ability to be a credible advocate of HR policies and practices with individuals throughout the organization, across different businesses
Significant exposure to various corporate legal processes.
Experience of taking care of compliance for a mid sized set up
Ability to work as an individual contributor in a fast paced environment that is fast paced and demanding
Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills
