This position is responsible for managing & administration of the company Payroll shared services and ensuring compliance and accuracy in monthly Payroll activities. The role responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of payroll and related client services.
Overall responsibility of the company insurance & health checkup benefit administration.
Responsible for automation of Payroll related activities.
Also responsible for Handling few HR projects like Leave Management and Biometric Attendance system.
Overall responsibility for payroll processing and administration.
Efficient employee exit and accurate on-time full and final settlements
Manage certain time bound processes and ensure validation of data to be accurate and truthful i.e. Investments declaration, Form 16s, Tax Returns
Ensuring time lines are met for salary disbursement and statutory compliances.
Statutory compliance for all employment laws and documentations required and also manage audit management.
Ensuring Employee Benefits including Employee reimbursements as per rules and regulations of income tax.
Identify key metrics for measuring performance of the team and continuously measuring performance against indicators.
Responsible for MIS and Analytics regarding payroll and employee benefits with Standardization of reports for better decision making
Document workflow and work procedures for payroll including regular intervention for work flow enhancements
Works closely with design and implementation team and assists in implementation, testing, maintenance, and security for payroll and benefits administration.
Work with the HR Transformation Manager on System and Technology layer for supporting HR Transformation comparing the current technology with what is required for the process implementation and work with IT team to close the gaps
Research and resolve problems, perform scheduled activities, and liaison with service providers
Verification & Reconciliation of monthly payroll.
Calculation and deposit of monthly liability of TDS on salaries.
Preparation & Submission of Quarterly and Annual TDS returns.
Responsible of publishing monthly Payroll Dashboard
Ensure Monthly payroll provisions to Finance
Responsible for renewing GMC, GPA & GTL policies.
Coordinate with Insurance Broker & TPA for smooth functioning of the Insurance process & daily activities
Management of Annual health checkup benefit for the associates
Responsible to implement the Leave management and biometric attendance & access control system across all plants.
Supporting the C&B team in Annual Merit Exercise and STIP calculations/eligibility.
Supporting the team in Payroll module

Education: Masters degree in business (with finance as major), M.Com, or related field or equivalent experience required.
