Job Description

Analyze category-wise sales results, plan new store stock placement, allocate and reallocate stock for all stores
Leverage outlets strengths and address areas of opportunity to drive sales and profits at all stores
Promote high margin products, and control slow moving stocks
Analyze Market trends and consumer behavior along with store performance
Conduct Brand Awareness (and impart product knowledge to stores staff)
Setup and guide new outlets for smooth running
Ensure efficient purchasing of goods by analyzing reports generated by Merchandising team
Co-ordinate with Stores, Warehouse and Merchandising team members
Arrange proper merchandise for all outlets to meet customer needs and demands
Negotiate with vendors to get best prices
Implementation of proper Quality Control
Responsible for recruiting, training and team management
Creating, maintaining and updating the departmental SOPs
Report day to day activities to immediate manager
Prepare MIS reports for Manager/Senior Management
Visit stores on a regular basis, and work closely with Store Managers to drive revenue growth.
Graduate / Post Graduate
7 - 8 years of experience in selling optical product (Mandatory)
Degree/ diploma in Merchandising / Material Management
Optician background a Plus
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Analytical Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Co-ordination Skills, Time Management Skills
Computer knowledge, Material and Inventory Management Skills
Good in Market Analysis
