Job Description


The job will include working on various projects involving creating valuations (primarily DCF), business plans for internal business segments as well as external opportunities from scratch.

As part of the Investor Relations team, the person will be the point of contact to the investor community.

Preparation of Information Memorandums, Investor updates, Corporate Presentations.

The candidate must have specialized in finance & have strong skills in valuation, modeling, communication, excel and power point.

Main Responsibilities:

Perform analysis on financial statements and financial data.

Primarily responsible for fund raising thru Private Equity etc.

Should have experience in Merger & Acquisitions /IPO
Accurately and thoroughly analyze investment opportunities through detailed financial modeling and succinct presentation of the results in written and presentation formats
Would need to prepare detailed financial and valuation models (with underlying assumptions and drivers) & financial forecasts for operating businesses and proposed new business entities

Participate in meetings with clients and Business Heads and draw specific inputs for building financial models and Investor presentations

Preparation of investor presentations and information memorandums backed by in-depth Market and Industry Research
Work on valuation models of various business units engaged in the retail and consumption space and get them valued by a independent value clearly articulating the business model, underlying valuation drivers and defending the underlying assumptions for the financial projections

Candidate Profile

BE / MBA (Finance) preferred

MUST MBA (Finance)

Should Have 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.

Skill / Knowledge / Technical requirements:
Analytical skills, excellent communication skills and ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity
Knowledge of valuation techniques
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
prioritize multiple tasks and meets strict deadlines
Advanced user of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Understanding and knowledge of financial concepts and accounting practices
Proven ability to design detailed valuation and financial models
Ability to create Investor Memorandums and Investor presentations backed by sound Industry research
Prior experience as an analyst in Investment Banking research, Equity research, Credit research will be a plus
