About Financial Reporting:
The Financial Reporting Group (FR) is a group of accounting experts responsible for preparing financial statements and providing audit and tax support services to Clients. We also provide taxation services which include German tax; US estimated tax, wash sales and QDI reporting.
CFR also plays a key role as a coordinator and escalation for audit and in resolving technical IFRS / US GAAP accounting related queries of the client.
Preparation and oversight of the production of clients financial statements and reports
Liaisoning with clients external auditors
Resolution of audit queries
Coordinating client audit deliverables
Managing and monitoring audit progress
Resolving technical accounting queries for clients complex products / transactions
Training the fund accounting staff in the financial statement preparation process
Ad hoc projects to improve the clients financial reporting process
ACA / ACCA qualification or equivalent
7+ years experience
Experience with IFRS or USGAAP
Preparation of Audit & Financial Statements.
Client management experience
Good communication skills
Ability to work remotely with teams in UK
Quantitative aptitude, Desire to learn, Hard working, Positive Attitude, Team Player
Desirable Skills :
Knowledge of MS Excel Macro / Visual Basic
Knowledge of Financial Products
Prior exposure to hedge funds / accounting for financial instruments
