Linux Administration, AWS, Chef.
Desired skill set:
1. Min. 4 - 10 yrs experience in Linux Administration & AWS in a professional environment.
2. Experience in CI/ CD tools (eg. Chef or Puppet, Jenkins or Thought works Go, etc)

You are either developers who get interested in deployment and network operations, or sysadmins who have a passion for scripting and coding, and move into the development side where they can improve the planning of test and deployment.
This is primarily a "building" role.
The team does handle escalations of operational issues from front-line operations engineers, but this sort of support work will be kept to a minimum.
Design, implement and deploy next generation systems, clusters and services.
Automate everything using scripting(python, ruby, etc.) and configuration management tools like chef.
Build tools to allow developers and QA to self-service their infrastructure and application needs.
Implement and enhance system and application monitoring, logging, security, etc.
Handle escalated support issues from front-line operations engineers.
Develop solutions and processes for Continuous Delivery, Build and release management.
Develop tools for cloud automation and management for both private and public clouds.
Managing infrastructure on AWS services.
3+ years of Linux administration ans AWS in a professional environment.
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
Ability to code and script.
Experience with systems and IT operations
Comfort with with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
Strong grasp of automation tools
A strong focus on business outcomes.
Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins or Thoughtworks Go).
Experience with version control systems such as git or svn. (git is preferred ).
Very strong configuration management experience with Chef eco-systems - (Similar Puppet experience will be considered, provided you're willing to learn Chef.)
Very strong in shell scripting.
Very strong in Ruby or Python.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnetting, routing etc.)
Solid understanding of system services (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc.)
Solid understanding of AWS services like EC2, S3.
Very strong understanding of virtualization (xen, containers) and private clouds(openstack or cloudstack).
Data management and Big Data stack skills in hadoop, kafka, cassandra and related projects.
Experience in no-sqls like Aerospike, Mongo, redis.
Experience in RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ.
Experience evaluating, deploying, and integrating open source software.
Experience in web frameworks like Django or RoR.
Desired Profile Must be an experienced and expert Infrastructure Development and System Engineer/ Operations professional with minimum 3 yrs+ - 10 yrs experience.
Must have mandatory expertise into Linux Administration and AWS along with Expertise in Chef or Puppet.
