Overall Purpose of the Role:
Summary of the role: Conceptualization and contribution of innovative ideas in design and development of products across non core categories
To conceptualize, create and promote new designs and concepts for in house brands as well as design development of licensee products across all categories of non core like Apparel, Foot wear, Accessories, Home etc.
Areas of Responsibility:
Key Responsibilities: Size & Scope of the role, Key Stakeholders, Areas of accountability, Results expected,etc.
Apparel, Accessories, Footwear, Home.
1- Analyze market trends and customer preferences.
2- Develop mood boards as per requirements and as conceptualized.
3- Present and promote mood boards to various category managers and finalize selection.
4- Make a range of designs across products and help in developing samples of the same.
5- Work closely with teams of International brands and develop designs as per their norms.
6- Get designs approved and passed in concept stage with relevant brand managers.
7- Consolidate developments and maintain data season wise for each category.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Years of Experience, Educational and Professional Qualifications, Type of Industry Experience, etc. Required
Graduate in Graphic design with 5-8 years experience in designing of any non-core product/s like apparel, footwear, Home etc.
Key Technical, Language and Job related skills required
High speed execution of Photoshop, Illustrator.
Good communication and inter-personal skills.
Willingness to stretch him/ herself to achieve high standards of design.
