Health, Safety & Environmental Leader reports to site Operations Leader and has a functional reporting line to the Area Service Manager. Responsibilities include ensuring site operates safely and within all health, safety & environment regularity and Organization. Enables safety culture at site
Essential Duties And Responsibilities include the following.
Develops, recommends and implements practical approach to resolve health, safety and environmental issues at site.
1.Ensure Pace City site operates safely and within all health, safety & environment regularity and Organization requirements.
2.Lead Pace city HSE team to ensure all three businesses has the support they need to accomplish their respective goals.
3.Works with Site operations leader to Improve leading HSE Metrics to sustain and further improve Safety culture at site
4.On time completion of annual SAT process and achieve SAT score of 76%maintain 0-0-0 at Pace City Site
5.Ensure all HSE related legal/statutory licenses, compliance's, returns are in place as per government & Organization requirements
6.Responsible for implementing and improving General HSE, Environment, Safety, Loss Prevention, Industrial Hygiene, Health, Management System modules
7.Integrate HSE with HOS (Lean) implementation
8.Coordinate & collaborate with local & global HSE leaders to ensure continuous learning's and replication.
9.Coaches and mentors teams and role model for HSE behaviors. Development & Succession planning for HSE Team
10.Coordinate with government agencies related to HSE for business related activities on site.
11.Develop site specific HSE Plan & Procedures, HSE Policies, provide training & communication to affected / relevant employees to ensure compliance with Corporate HSE & as well as relevant SBG
12.Manage HSE activities like Training Matrix, Fire system, Management of change, Safety observation system, contractors safety, HSE Induction, Mock Drills, Event Tracking System , HSE Council etc
Bachelor of engineering (Preferred Chemical engineer),
Advanced Diploma in Industrial safety (from regional or central Labor institute),
OSHA qualified, Working knowledge of NFPA .
Total experience of 11 to 14 years in HSE..
Should have managerial experience of 4-5 years.
