Job Description

Key Account Manager is responsible for developing/ handling key client(s)/territory to achieve revenue targets aligning with sales budgets. He will be responsible for market research, lead generation, client management and managing relationships with channel partners and customers.

New customer Development ( Domestic & International)

Create new markets, implement entry strategies and achieve speedy penetration in domestic as well as international regions/markets
Lead generation and development leading to trials
Conduct technology presentations at the customer site
Conduct plant trials and present the analysis reports to clients
Assist in commercial negotiations
Own the account and manage relationships

Revenue Targets

Generate and maintain a sales forecast for accounts and territories assigned
Successful implementation of sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
Managing and assisting team members ,channel partners & clients to ensure revenue goals 

Managing customer and channel partner relationships

Serve as the primary customer contact for technical and business issues for the accounts/territories assigned
Ensuring that the interests of customers, channel partners and company are aligned at all times
Coordination for Sales promotion and advertising events

Sales operations

Overseeing the smooth processing of orders and ensuring timely deliveries
Preparing and implementing the sales collections plan

Management reporting

Preparing market research reports, sales forecasts, customer specific technical and commercial reports
Preparing the periodic review reports

Required Work Experience

Must have lab work experience either in studies or at work
Prior techno/product sales experience will be added advantage
Prior experience in biotech industry will be an advantage
Knowledge about B2B sales of enzymes will be an added advantage

Technical Competencies

Extremely good analytical skills for technical data analysis, presentation and reports
Ability to effectively analyze and present the data in order to convince clients
