5-7 years RHEL 5, Solaris, OS X System Administration experience
Extensive background in SAN/NAS storage with Netapp or other comparable vendor
Experience with Distributed File System
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, SMTP, IMAP, DNS and other common internet protocols
Expertise in monitoring tools - Oracle Ops center, Espresso, Netapp dfm management tool, Nagios monitoring tool, SNMP walk tool.
Experience with Unix / MAC OS
Knowledge of common network services and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, HTTPS, VPN
relevant professional certifications are added advantage (for example NCDA)
Experience & Background:
7+ years of IT experience
Bachelors or Masters degree (B-Tech, B. E, MCA) from a reputed college
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer focus and demonstrable ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Expertise in developing in-depth system configuration documentation
Should be flexible to travel on short term business assignments
