Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

To lead the operations of Data Networking for Large Global Infrastructure using ITO based platform for High Severity tickets within pre-defined SLA.
Responsible for the Uptime, single representation and management of the team and Juniper and F5 devices - Netscreen\SRX\NSM\GTM\LTM.

Mandatory skillset -
Should have at least 8+ years of hands-on technical experience with - Firewall & F5 Load Balancer.
Should have worked as Lead\Manager for a group of technical resources in Network Operation center / Security Operation Center.
Experience in handling High Severity incidents.
Expert in Juniper Firewall security devices
Expert in managing large clusters of firewalls and their operations
Worked on Network Designs
Good analytical skills with a drive for excellence and an eye for improvements
Very good verbal and written communication skills.
Certification CCIE, CCNP. Optional - ITIL preferred.

Responsibilities :
Single Point of contact and representation for the team
Lead team of Level-3 and Level-2 resources staffed across 24/7 rotating shifts
Team management for daily activities
Create/Maintain production support process for site, client, and critical components
Manage Capacity and Network Assessment process
Manage and schedule periodic review and Trainings for the team
Configuration Management - Ensuring all changes are documented and Network documentation is maintained up-to-date
Work with vendors
Incident Management
Responsible for managing team for Sev-1 (2 hrs) and Sev-2 (4 hrs) SLA's and subsequent breach within predefined SLAs for High severity calls.
Proactive and escalated intervention
Validating business impact, Single point of failure and deciding on Statement of Impact (SOI) and
timely notifications to the Incident management team
Manage follow up on outstanding items resulting from incident
Ownership in terms of complete people and process for resolution within predefined time and availability during crisis
Problem Management
Responsible to determine RCA
Responsible to present RCA to the management
Change Management
Responsible for successful change implementations
Attend weekly change meetings to present and review open change requests
Manage outstanding items resulting from incidents caused by change
