Job Description

As Highway Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Participate in the preliminary and detailed design of transportation projects (roads, highways and freeways) in an urban environment.

- Undertake geometric design, roadside safety analysis, drainage design and quantity calculations.

- Assist design manager and project manager with preparation of reports specifications (preliminary design, design and construction, design synopsis and design criteria).

Candidate Specification:

As the qualified candidate you possess the following skills/qualifications:

Civil engineer with a specialization in highway engineering design and construction.
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant road and highway design experience in a consulting environment.
Registered as an Eng. in Quebec.
Working knowledge of MTQ standards and contract documents. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Microstation, InRoads, and working knowledge of LDD, HDS, Civil 3D would be an asset.
Good interpersonal skills.
Possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) in French and English.
