Job Description

Generic responsibilities

*        To provide customer service to both internal and external customers

*        Ensure own work is completed to a high level of accuracy within service level agreements, to achieve regulatory target

*        Processing non standard or complex transactions/calculations

*        Keeps own knowledge of processes, products and appropriate regulation up to date

*        Contact customers by telephone, fax, e-mail or letter to resolve queries/obtain information

*        Achieve Licence/Signoff in line with the Objectives

*        Act as a good team player, supporting colleagues, sharing information and offering assistance when required

*        Act as a facilitator in cross training and also get cross trained in other product and transaction types, once such opportunities are presented

*        Provide guidance and training to other members of staff, as appropriate, to improve quality results and experience levels

*        Maintain and implement personal development plan in partnership with immediate manager

*        Identify, facilitate and implement process improvement ideas to improve efficiency.

*        Keep own process knowledge up to date

*        To demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that arise.
