The Implementation Delivery Head is a senior leadership position reporting into the Chief Operating Officer. This role provides leadership and direction for the various teams in the products / systems implementation. He/she is responsible for the operational outcomes during the entire end-to-end life cycle of Products Implementation -- managing complex multi-country, multi products roll out and multiple customers. He/She is responsible for the day to day Implementation operations which involve human resource management, talent development, product implementation, customer engagement, program / project management. This role must identify issues in Implementation / delivery chain and provide short term and long term solutions, drive operational efficiencies through productivity and quality improvements. This role must provide scalable implementation support systems and prepare the teams, products, infrastructure to scale for the next 3-5 years as per directions from CEO, COO.
This role must strive to improve brand image, customer relationships, support implementation and product management teams.
This role will OWN the assigned product implementations / customer engagements and drive the Biz outcome and total excellence with alignment with engineering and support teams.
o Progressive career experience as a senior executive in a large software house
o Strong experience on product implementation / project management preferably banking products
o Reasonable knowledge on the processes related to product engineering life cycle: product design, product development, release management, change control, solution architecture, deployment architetcure
o Well versed in Implementation / Software Product Delivery with focus on customer / stakeholder engagement, software releases, implementation design, deliver with superior performance (products & projects)
o Strong knowledge or Experience of running large service organization for providing software support services
o Experience in implementing large software programs / projects
o Managing large implementation teams and experience to build scale
o Minimum 15+ experience in software products implementation / program management / projects management
o Very good knowledge on IT Infrastructure, allied services including software quality assurance, software testing
o Deep knowledge on running operations in a software industry -- including managing human capital, IP capital, customer capital, financial capital
o Good people management skills / talent development
o Good grasp of various technologies and its usage
o Drive Implementation; inclination to get to details like design and architecture
o Nurture innovation / Implementation design / design thinking
o Root cause analysis of product issues / defect preventions
o Knowledge and usage of different development methodologies
o Managing different stakeholders within the organization (testing services, software configuration management, performance engineering, QA, etc..) and external stakeholders in customer organization at different levels
