We are a 7 year young recruitment firm with a global reach named ArCent Global. We provide dependable top level talent to our clients. Most of our clients are leading MNCs and CMM level companies.
Currently we have been retained (exclusively) to hire a HR Head, by a one of our client which is a major manufacturer of optical fibers & cables. Founded in 1990, listed in NSE, BSE & Luxembourg stock exchange, their current turnover is about Rs 370 crore. Company has about 315 FTEs + 305 contractual employees, corporate office at Delhi + 3 manufacturing units (a new one in UAE).
Following will be the major responsibilities to head HR function at the organizational level (including Plant HR)
1. Strategic HR
a. Insuring that every aspect of human resources incorporates the vision, values, and culture of the organization.
b. Formulate & evaluates various plans by HR department to establish employer as an employer of choice.
c. HR budgeting & take decisions on all HR team budgets agreed by the Board.
d. Develop organizational procedures and policies.
e. Liaise with other functional managers to understand all aspects and needs of HR and to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purposes and achievements.
2. Talent Acquisition
a. Establish and maintain a recruitment center of excellence.
b. Developing staffing strategies and implementing hiring programs and plans.
c. Manage all aspects of the recruitment process from manpower planning, recruitment, induction & Orientation
3. Training &Development
a. Support Businesses in setting learning and development budgets.
b. Plan, organize & direct TNA, TNI, Training of employees at all levels, via internal & external trainings.
c. Devise & deliver annual training calendar.
4. PMS / EE
a. Plan & develop Strong performance management culture, employee's performance appraisal, develop tools for appraisal, job evaluation and development.
b. Devise & roll out actions for Employee Engagement, Retention and R&R (Reward & Recognition).
c. Motivate, manage performance, develop human talent in the organization to reach the full potential.
a. Devise & improvise industry standard organization structure & C&B for all employees
b. Payroll Management
a. Establish and maintain best HR policies, processes/procedures/systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development, that Comply fully with statutory requirements.
b. Reviewing and revising HR policies in compliance with changing or new legislation.
c. Audit and authenticate all documents related to legal, salary statements and distribution, policies etc.
7. HR OPs - Maintain accurate employment records that meet data protection standards
This role requires -
1. 10-15 years of total experience (HR), age between 35 to 45 years. (approx.)
2. FT MBA in HR.
3. SOC - Experience of managing HR for about 200 FTE + 200 contractual employees.
4. Having worked in a manufacturing company.
5. Reporting to the CMD and managing HR team of entire organization including plant that has about 10 employees currently. (4 in corporate + 6 in plants).
6. Working at HO at Mohan Cooperative Industrial Area, timings are 9.30 am -- 5.45 pm, 2nd and 4th Saturday is working, other Saturdays are off.
7. Traveling to plant locations.
