The global online fashion product company is now seeking a HR Head for the India part of the business. With a global headcount of 500 and 130 in the India, the position reports to the Global HR Director and has line management responsibility for a team of 4. This position is based in our Bangalore office.
The Head of HR will be responsible for leading and delivering the India HR strategy in line with the global business plan. You will be working closely with the Global HR Director, whilst having a huge influence on the India strategy; you will also be responsible for the purely operational side of HR, driving the performance and culture within this fast growing and ever evolving creative business.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing coaching and guidance to all India managers and employees on day-to-day HR related issues
Ensuring the business operates in line with all current Indian employment legislation
Implementing guidelines, policies, and procedures in line with the company direction
Managing employee relations, absence management, disciplinaries, grievances and employment records
Learning and development: Implement the L&D agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement
Performance Management system - ensuring all staff receive quality appraisals, and that training needs are identified
As this is a fairly new business we are looking for a strong HR Generalist who has current or recent experience within a fast growing / start up technology business. You will be totally up to date on Indian employment law and legislation.
